Bought 6 of these to try out. They are advertised as 6w LED but the ones that arrived looked like the picture but are marked as 7w. That is no problem though!
These are warm white, and its pretty close to Halogen white. Can't see the ordinary eye telling the difference, in fact I have seen more variation between normal bulbs.
The brightness is more or less the same as a 50w Halogen but the LED has a wider spread of light which may or may not suit your needs. I have tried other LED bulbs but found them to be very white/blue and vastly oversold on lighting output.
Lifespan is yet to be discovered but GU10 Halogens just last a short time here so they wouldn't have to last very long to payback.
Definitely going to buy more.
