We had our bathroom ceiling replaced and I bought five of these to replace the old fittings. They are suitable for bathrooms (IP65 rated) and fire rated; I particularly liked not having to worry too much about loft insulation getting in the way (especially where I couldn't reach it that easily) as the plastic cowling provides suitable protection. They are easy to fit – as usual for this type of light, make the right size hole and insert the lights using the built-in spring clips. What I particularly liked (and is not shown on the picture on Amazon) is that there is a short (40cm) cable attached to the top of the fitting with a very solid connector on the end to attach to your house wiring, making for an easy but very secure connection, even in awkward places. Quality product, well worth that little bit extra for safety and easy fitting. Highly recommended.
